Padel has mostly become popular because of its simplicity. It is effortless to learn for players of all ages and skills. And if you have ever played or even tried other racquet sports such as tennis or squash or badminton before, it will take you just some a short time to get to grips with this game.
The Racquets Club at La Manga Club Resort proudly boasts a new world-class Padel Centre featuring seven professional glass courts.
Court hire, private tuition, padel academies and weekly tournaments are all offered.
| Adult Academy Are you ready to take your game to the next level? Master the off-the-wall smash or improve your tray-shots? Our Adult Academy will develop your technique to master all areas of this exciting game and if you’re new to Padel, we'll get you up and running in no time, so you can get going, enjoy and have fun. Our expert coaching team will group players of similar levels together and work on all areas to refine your game, teach new strokes, practise different game situations and learn good tactics. The Academy takes place over 5 days Monday to Friday from 9-11am, and runs during Easter, May & October half terms, and throughout July & August. Price - £280 per adult |
| Midweek Padel Academy
The Midweek Padel Academy includes a mixture of training sessions, doubles tactics and match play. It takes place over 3 days from Tuesday to Thursday, and will run during all weeks except for Easter, May half term, July, August and October half term.

| Junior Academy
Our motivational team is ready and set to help younger players progress and develop their game, or to learn right from the beginning! Kids will love this fun and exciting academy. Smashes, volleys, tray-shots galore all at high speed with lots of laughs! The Junior Academy takes place over 5 days Monday to Friday from 11am-1pm, and runs during Easter, May & October half terms, and throughout July & August. Price - £250 per child |
| Padel Weekender This is the perfect programme for a long weekend away. Experienced coaches will help you improve and understand Padel Tennis in this short academy. If you book as an individual it's a great opportunity to meet some new friends, or you can come as a group to enjoy a few action packed days in the sun. This academy includes 7.5 hours of coaching, running from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. | Social Padel
Padel is an experience meant to be enjoyed with friends and fellow enthusiasts, and the social padel afternoons are the perfect embodiment of this philosophy. With sessions throughout the year, and extra sessions during the busiest months, there are plenty of opportunities for both solo players and groups to join together and share their passion. The short, fast-paced matches provide a chance to hone your skills and create new friendships. After two hours of exciting padel action, a complimentary beer or glass of wine awaits, creating the perfect setting for sharing stories and getting to know your fellow padel players. Social padel sessions run on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, with additional sessions during busy months. Please note these are adult events for players age 15+. |

The maximum number of players per group is 4.
The Rules of Padel
- Padel uses the same scoring system as tennis. A game is scored exactly the same as tennis ie. 15/0, 30/0, 40/0, deuce, advantage etc.
- Six games are needed to win a set and the team which wins two sets wins the match. If a set reaches 6-6 in games then a tie-break to 7 points is played.
*All academies require a minimum of 3 players to run. **A deposit is required on all rental equipment
