Congratulations to La Solana, La Quinta Club
By Paula Ball
This Tuesday, at the Hotel Sercotel Alfonso XIII in Cartagena, the Gala of the presentation of the National Tourism and Gastronomy Awards 2025 was held, an event that brought together 250 attendees, including wineologists, brewers, hostelers, chefs, producers, gastronomists, and culinary critics.
During the evening, 40 prizes were awarded, among them the Ambassador Necklace to the esteemed Tomás Martínez Pagán and the prestigious White Hat to chef Adrián Ros, who leads the outstanding kitchen team at La Solana de La Quinta restaurant at La Manga Club. This recognition highlights the team’s passion for delivering an exceptional gastronomic experience, creating memorable moments around the table at La Manga Club.
The gala’s welcome cocktail and dinner were prepared by the hotel itself, with guidance from the Michelin-starred and two Repsol Soles-awarded restaurant Magoga.
These national awards are organized by Radio Turismo, directed by Juan Manuel Madrigal Tobías—well known in the world of communication as Maito—who has been a radio announcer for fifty-two uninterrupted years.
For those wishing to taste the flavors that earned this distinction, La Solana invites guests to enjoy the dishes from its new Fall Menu.
