The Junior Padel Academy is held at the Racquet Club’s top-notch padel facilities, where players will be greeted with a warm welcome and get a thorough introduction to this exciting and rapidly growing sport. Designed for young talents aged U15 and U12, the program focuses on building the skills and foundation necessary for success in the world of Padel Tennis. This coaching program guides young players through fundamental shot-making techniques, helping them master the use of the back and side walls, while also teaching key matchplay strategies. A fun and exciting academy with plenty of smashes, volleys, tray-shots, and more all at high speed with lots of laughs! The Junior Academy takes place over 5 days Monday to Friday from 11am-1pm, and runs during Easter, May & October half terms, and throughout July & August.
The Rules of Padel Padel uses the same scoring system as tennis. A game is scored exactly the same as tennis ie. 15/0, 30/0, 40/0, deuce, advantage etc. Six games are needed to win a set and the team which wins two sets wins the match. If a set reaches 6-6 in games then a tie-break to 7 points is played.
