Scuba-diving and Snorkelling

The Mar Menor’s clear, shallow waters are home to a variety of species, making them ideal for exploration by snorkelers. For both experienced, qualified divers and complete beginners, diving in the Mediterranean is an unforgettable experience. The instructors at Adventure Divers, a small PADI dive centre based on La Manga Club, are helpful and professional, offering organised supervision of shore, boat and wreck dives.

Activities:

Discover Scuba Diving Experience for Beginners - A great way to experience diving in a safe environment. Consists of a short skills session in a protected bay followed by a scuba dive in the clear warm waters under the close supervision of your PADI instructor.

Kids scuba diving Bubblemaker course - Children from age 8 can participate in this introduction to diving, giving them the change to experience the thrill and exitement of breathing underwater using scuba equipment in the safe confines of a shallow bay.

PADI Open Water Diver Certification - Learn all the essential & basic rules with this popular diver certification course, giving you the freedom to dive independently anywhere in the world! You can also do the Advanced Open Water Certification or even the PADI Divemaster course if you want to take scuba diving to a whole new level.

Rescue & First-aid courses - The first-aid course is a must for all serious divers, and the Rescue Diver certification will give you the knowledge and practical experience to cope with emergency situations both above and below the water.

Speciality Diving Courses - Become a more confident and controlled diver with one of thes fun and informative courses including Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Search & Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Underwater Naturalist, Aware Fish Identification and Underwater Photographer.

Snorkelling Safaris: These guided tours are a fun and exciting way to discover what is just below the surface of the calm, clear waters, snorkelling in a variety of sheltered bays around Cabo de Palos.

Powerboat excursions: Book a half or full day excursion on-board a beautiful 43ft flybridge cruiser including snorkelling, swimming and BBQ (full day)

Jet Ski's: Available for rental or as a guided excursion where you can enjoy the beautiful coastline from a different perspective.

Kite Surfing: Gain the experience you need to learn kite control on the shallow Mar Menor Sea, and receive a certification card to recognise you have completed the kite surfing course.

Stand Up Paddle: This is all about balance! Using a long paddle to move around the water, this is a workout for your shoulders and core muscles, perfect for the calm waters of the Mar Menor.

Kayak: Fun for children and adults, this is a relaxing and fun way to enjoy the outdoors and discover the Mar Menor. Rentals and excursions available.

Windsurfing: Learn how to use the wind to make you fly over the ocean with courses available for all levels and ages.

Light Sailing Courses or Hire: Various courses available to learn how to sail in the hands of experienced and professional instructors.

NEED TO KNOW

  • Adventure Divers is situated 15 minutes from La Manga Club Resort on the Mar de Cristal
  • High Season (July & August) is very busy and we advise that you book well in advance.
  • Due to the nature of these activities age or height restrictions may apply but we will do our best to accommodate everybody
