Having started visiting La Manga Club for family holidays around 20 years ago, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the resort. It wasn’t just the views of the mountains, golf courses and Mar Menor in the distance, it was also the wealth of facilities, number of restaurants, variety of golf courses and the tennis centre (now known as The Racquets Club). Plus the attractions off resort too – water sports, water parks, the historic city of Cartagena, fabulous beaches and restaurants.

We purchased our 3 bedroom villa with a private pool in 2006 when our children were very small and have never looked back. We chose a management company after chatting to the main ones listed on the resort and settled with Resort Sales & Management (RSM), who assisted with the legal, tax and language differences (we do not speak Spanish). RSM not only continue to look after the villa nearly 20 years later but have assisted us with renovations and maintenance over these years. Their support, knowledge, fairness and honesty are a testament to the longevity of our relationship.

After several years of keeping the villa for our own use, we decided to branch out and rent for parts of the year when we didn’t visit. The children had started school, and it made sense to keep the villa aired and lived in during these periods. Furthermore, the benefit of a rental income contributed to our running and maintenance costs. A good management company like RSM are instrumental in assisting with the rental transition as their knowledge of insurance, health and safety and management, on top of their wide reach in terms of letting agents will ensure your property is accurately listed and promoted far and wide.

We have and are still having the best experience every time we visit our home from home at La Manga Club, and our continual rental income has allowed us to keep our villa in tip top condition so that our guests can also enjoy our beautiful home.
